The Power of Sound: Words, Thoughts, Breath, and Energy

Last week, I received some wisdom from my Guides and Angels that I have been thinking deeply upon for days. Late last night, another clue surfaced. And now, I'm ready to tell you about all of this, as I believe that information received from the Universe is meant to be shared. Bear with me here, let me ramble, as I find our way to the Truth at the center of it all.

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
There are wise words that come out of many books, many peoples, all paths.
If you listen deeply enough, you can hear the Uni-verse singing them.
Mitakuye Oyasin (we are all related)
One Love

This is the clue that came to me last night, and I will use it to further our understanding of this concept.

Words have Power. Using the example above, here are some powerful words that we can use, that carry positive energy, and help us to keep our vibrational level high:

Mitakuye Oyasin: We are all Related
One Love - One World
Namaste: The God in me recognizes, respects, and honors the God in you.
Amen: "it is so; so be it (used after a prayer, creed, or other formal statement to express solemn ratification or agreement)." ~Dictionary.com
Om: "the first sound that began Creation, the aural representation of Brahman and absolute reality. Om simultaneously represents all four states of Brahman, the Supreme Being: waking (symbolized by A and pronounced like Ah); dream (symbolized by U and pronounced like “would”); and deep sleep (symbolized by M and pronounced like Mmm); and silence, the state of perfect bliss. In mortals, Om sustains life as it runs through breath. By the silence stage at the end of the mantra, the individual meditating is aligned with the Supreme Being." ~Lifescript.com
Shalom: Peace. "The verb Shalom means the act of completeness, perfection and fullness.  This is often extended into prosperity in the non-financial sense, tranquility, health, and harmony. By pronouncing the word Shalom to others as a greeting and farewell to others, these sentiments are also passed along." ~Lifescript.com
Blessings
Blessed Be

In Gratitude

Then there are Mantras and Affirmations:

Mantras: According to the Bhagavad Gita, "Mantras are powerful spiritual formula that when repeated silently in the mind, have the capacity to transform consciousness."
Om Mani Padme Hum: A Buddhist Mantra that refers to the jewel in the lotus of the heart.
“Mantras are powerful spiritual formula that when repeated silently in the mind, have the capacity to transform consciousness.”

"Any word spoken with clear realization and deep concentration, has a materializing value."
~FractalEnlightenment.com

Towards this end, Affirmations contain the same materializing value, as we repeat them to raise our vibrational level, or to bring something into our lives. It is the same with Spells and other forms of Magickal Workings.

To manifest something into our lives, we simply use the repetition of words. This can be anything from peace, love, healing, harmony, to money, the love of another, or even Oneness.

Words are important, I'm sure you'll agree, but that is just the first part of our equation:
The Power of SOUND: Words, Thoughts, Breath, and Energy

Our thoughts shape who we are. If we are able to change our thoughts, we can change our world. For instance, if we are filled with negative self-talk, we can stop that or replace it with better self talk, more positive self talk, every time we catch ourselves saying something negative to or about ourselves. Find a phrase that you can use to replace it with, such as I love myself, or I love, trust, and value myself. An affirmation. Fancy that!

The best way to use an Affirmation to bring something into your life, is to phrase it as if the desired outcome is already in your life. For example: I give thanks for the love that I have for myself. Say that enough times, and you will remember that you do love yourself, and you will be able to turn around that negative self-talk in no time!

Again with the repetition, however. Why is that?

Words create sound, sound is vibration. We are vibrating the Air when we use our voice. The same Air that we breathe, the same Air that the Trees absorb, the same Air that All of Life is breathing. And the Element Air, which lies in the Direction of East, and is represented by the season of Spring, brings us Focus and Clarity, and assists our Mental Abilities. Sharpness and clarity of mind, then, come from the Air. The Air that we breathe, the Air that we vibrate with our words.

Let's take this a step further, to the wisdom I received last week. Every noise that we make also becomes a part of our collective Air. Loud explosions and Buddhists chanting. Gun fire and prayer. Gratitude and cursing. Yelling and Screaming. Fireworks. Machines and factories. Planes, trains, and automobiles, along with their horns. Children playing. People crying. Every. Single. Noise. Why do we call it noise? Such a negative sounding word! If it is a church choir singing, or Buddhists chanting, is it still "noise", or does it need to be called something else?

Speaking of noise, there is also White Noise. I have nothing to offer on that thought, I just wanted to throw it in there for your consideration.

So then, all of our emotions can be expressed with sound:
Anger: cursing and yelling
Fear: Screaming and weapons firing
Hate: Again with the ugly words and yelling
Sadness and Grief: crying, moaning, pleading
Love: words of love spoken to another
Happiness: a feeling that is expressed in all that we say and do
Peace: A feeling that pervades all that we are.

These are not ALL emotions, but you see where I'm going with this. We make noise to emphasize our point. Our beliefs. And it expresses our vibrational level to the Universe. What we put out is what we attract. Powerful words to think on!

Now think on this: Our thoughts are also emitted with our breath. What are you putting out? What are you attracting?

So, my realization this past week has been about how everything that we do expresses our vibrational level to the Universe, and how that, in turn, affects our world. Energy attracts like energy.

We can take this in a different direction here. We can choose instead to think about what color Aura we are emitting. We can choose to become conscious / aware of the energy that we are putting out into the world through our words, thoughts, breath, and energy. We can also choose to affect the world in a more positive way, by being aware of our thoughts, words, and the sounds that we are putting out that vibrate the Air. Being aware of our vibrational level, is the key.

After thinking on all of this, I shifted to thinking about music, because music is another sound that we create, that also vibrates the Air, as all sounds do. I thought about how I use binaurals a lot, even to charge my Orgonite pieces. I thought about the difference in meditation music and heavy metal music. Or Hip Hop. Or any music form that emits loud noises and/or rowdy words, lets call them. What are we really putting out there?

Maybe this is just a shift for me, maybe this was just information for me to think on. Maybe it wasn't meant to be shared. I'm not trying to change the world, or even to change what you choose to listen to. I am working towards creating Awareness. Let us be Aware this week, of how the vibrations that we are each responsible for emitting, are affecting All of Life. Let us be aware, and accept responsibility for what we do, on all levels, for it all affects us all, sometimes subtly, other times profoundly.

Be what you wish to attract - for yourself and for All of Life.

May peace be with you.
One love

P.S. - I have a feeling that this is not all of this topic, and that we will be coming back to it soon. In the meantime, feel free to share any thoughts you have on this subject, in the comments. I'd love to hear from you!

I completely agree and am thankful for your words and wisdom. This makes a ton of sense and especially now when there is still chaotic energy in the air. We can soothe and calm that just by heeding your words here. Thank you for sharing your guidance. I am very appreciative!
